On Friday, Global radio stations announced this round of Global’s Make Some Noise raised over £2.6 million in grant money for 41 small charities – including GFS.
Each individual charity is receiving a grant in support of our life changing projects in local communities across the UK.
So, we sent our Programme Coordinator, Ceri Morgans, and GFS Townhill’s Group Coordinator, Shelley Williams, over to Heart Radio Wales to find out exactly how much their fantastic listeners raised for GFS.
While they were there, Ceri and Shelley shared more about the work we do, the challenges the charity faces, and the extreme importance of our services. And they found out Global’s Make Some Noise didn’t just raise our target – they doubled it.
