We are looking for women to help run our weekly groups for girls. The groups give girls a chance to try new things, make friends and find their confidence and resilience. With GFS, you’ll have opportunities to take a lead and support the girls and young women to feel proud of who they are.

Everyone has something to offer GFS, and we want to bring together women from all walks of life to make great volunteer teams and give our girls different perspectives on life. So whether you’re motivated by skill or passion, life experience or a drive to make things better for girls and young women, you will be welcome at GFS.

What we do

We work with volunteers to run weekly social groups for girls. Sessions are made up of a range of activities that offer girls the chance to play, be creative, get active, develop skills, be part of their community and build self-esteem. The single gender nature of the groups makes them a safe place for girls to explore new ideas and try new things.

If you think you’d enjoy joining a team of volunteers in delivering a group, read on!
