Many businesses are realising the importance that their customers see in have a positive social impact. If you’re looking to create a corporate charity partnership with a focus on gender equality, GFS could be a great fit.

There are many benefits of charity partnerships in being seen as an employer with a commitment to gender equality. Businesses that can demonstrate this are among the first choices for the best women candidates in the workforce, resulting in a stronger, more progressive organisation.

Furthermore, Harvard Business Review that found 64% of consumers say that sharing the same values with a brand is the primary reason they have a relationship in the first place. Charity partnerships are a great way to show that you are making a material commitment to gender equality.

Celebrate International Day of the Girl with us

Over the last few years, International Women’s Day has taken the world by storm. However, many of the issues women face begin in girlhood. If effectively supported during their formative years, girls have the potential to change the world.

The UN’s International Day of the Girl Child focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and promotes girls’ empowerment. For International Day of the Girl 2022, we will be seeking to give a platform for five GFS girls to tell their stories.

We’re looking for partners to fund or offer pro bono website development or photography to support this work. Additionally, we are open to a headline sponsor/partner for the activity. By partnering with GFS on International Day of the Girl, you have the chance to be one of the first organisations to show a commitment to girls’ futures through this increasingly popular calendar event.

Support the launch of a group

Launching new groups is at the heart of what we do, and we continue to make plans for openings post-pandemic. Our current target is to open 12 new groups a year in key locations, including London, Liverpool, Durham and Manchester. We have recently opened six new groups, and are now scoping areas to launch two groups in South Wales. If you have an interest in supporting us in launching these groups, get in touch.

Get in touch

When working with corporate partners, flexibility is key to our approach. If you’re interested in working with us in a way that is different to the areas outlined above, we’d still love to hear from you. Please get in touch by emailing fundraising@girlsfriendlysociety.org.uk
