Last weekend saw Girls Friendly Society volunteers and staff from around England and Wales come together for GFS’ annual training weekend in Derbyshire.
The weekend included workshops and activities based around the self-esteem and reflection spaces for young people, child sexual exploitation and the ‘Science of Happiness’.
There was also a discussion around the strategic direction of the organisation as well as a chance for delegates to get to know their fellow staff and volunteers during games and entertainment.
Everyone had a great weekend of learning, sharing, laughing and inspiring!
