Welcome to GFS Pittington
GFS Pittington is a fun weekly group for girls, run by amazing women volunteers, who create a space where the girls know they can be themselves.
Age: Open to all girls aged 7-12
Time: Every Thursday during term time, 6-7.30pm
Location: Pittington Village Hall, Pittington, Durham, DH6 1AN
Weekly fee: £2 (fee waiver available, more info here)

Our sessions
Every week, sessions have fun activities, including four sessions per term that are influenced what the girls say is most important to them.
The games, crafts and activities at GFS Pittington are fun and age appropriate ways to teach girls about themselves and others too.

- Just having loads of laughs and fun without any worries

All girls welcome
Everyone is welcome at GFS Pittington and being kind to one another is at the heart of our group – we all benefit so much from the friends we make here.
This group is not focused on formal achievement. There are no certificates, badges or levels to achieve. GFS is all about each girl growing as an individual and being proud of who she is.
If your daughter has an additional needs, we will always seek to accommodate them at GFS. Just let us know about them on the sign up form, and our volunteers will discuss them with you when they get in touch.

If you’d like your child to come along and see what GFS is all about, just sign up on the registration form below and one of our volunteers will get in touch to discuss attendance as soon as possible.
As parents leave girls at the group, it is essential to register and confirm attendance with the Group Leader before attending. Sign up is free, and no commitment is required if you decide GFS isn’t for you.
