As we know its been an unprecedented year which has been tricky for us all.

We know how much our GFS girls love the Christmas card competition so we’re happy to announce that we’re on the hunt for a new design for our 2020 GFS Christmas card.
All GFS girls and young women aged 5-16 are eligible to enter.
The winner will see their credited design printed on the cover of this year’s official GFS Christmas card which is sent put to all our members, Group Leaders and partners. The winner will also receive a £30 Amazon voucher and two runners-up will receive a £10 Amazon Voucher each.
The design brief
This year we have a theme: Me on Christmas day
We want you to represent yourself on Christmas day. It can be you now, or you in the future!
For example, you could be out on a Christmas adventure riding a reindeer, delivering gifts, ice skating, or at home opening pressies! Be as creative as you like – your design can represent you in any shape or form on Christmas day.
It must also be inclusive and inoffensive (although being a bit cheeky/funny is fine).
Designs can be hand drawn, painted, digitally produced (using a drawing app) or designed however you like. However, it must be flat (not pop-up) so it can be scanned and sent to print.
Bonus points will be given to designs that fill every inch of the page with colour, so please try to maximise the amount of space and not leave any plain white background (unless it’s snow of course…).
We recommend creating something that’s A4 as a maximum and A6 as a minimum in size as the printed design will be adjusted to fit an A6 card (15cm x 10.5cm).
We loved all the creativity and bold colours from last year’s winning entries. Take a look at them for some inspiration!

The competition is open to any current GFS girl aged 5-16.

You must send us the artist’s name, age and GFS group in the email.
Make sure to keep your artwork – we will contact the winner as they may need to send their original design to us in the post.
We regret that we will not be able to return artwork.
