Girls Friendly Society empower and equip disadvantaged girls to be their best selves and to thrive. During Women’s Month in March 2024 Apple employees are invited to join their campaign to give 1000’s of women and girls messages that inspire self-belief.
1) Send an uplifting message to a woman or girl in your life
Send as many as you like, but make it personal by sending one at a time.
Choose a picture
Pick a message that will encourage or inspire her. Right click the image and save it on your device.
Send it with a personal message
Send the picture with a personal message via email or a messaging app of your choice. Tell her you are sending it to celebrate Women’s Month and why this message is just for her.
2) Inspire girls with women who inspire you
Stories of women and girls who break the mould of gender stereotypes are a powerful way to create new and bigger aspirations for girls.
Who inspires you? She could be any age, well known, unknown or little known, maybe a colleague or family member. And don’t be shy of sharing your own story, be proud and use it to inspire others.

Log your time on Benevity
The time you have spent sending messages to women and girls, and writing to GFS about women you inspire you is volunteering for Girls Friendly Society. You have taken action that support the goals of the charity to empower and equip girls and women to thrive.
