National Volunteers’ Week

posted in: News | 0

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution that volunteers make across the UK.

We are lucky enough to have over 170 people volunteering for GFS, all of whom are integral to the running of 40 groups across England and Wales. Our volunteers are involved in every part of the organisation; supporting girls and young women as well as supporting the work that GFS does. Without them, we simply couldn’t exist and importantly, we couldn’t carry on working towards our vision of creating a world where all girls and young women fulfil their potential.

“Without our volunteers
we we could not carry on working
towards our vision of creating a world
where
all girls and young women
fulfil their potential.”

GFS would like to send out a massive thank you for all the hard work, commitment and dedication our volunteers bring to their roles. If there is someone you know who volunteers for GFS make sure to give them a shout-out on Twitter or by visiting our Facebook page and say thanks to all those brilliant #GFSVolunteers.

“Let’s say thanks to all those wonderful GFS volunteers out there!”

We provide some great opportunities for people of all ages to volunteer their time, skills and experience with us. Our volunteers work in all areas across the organisation and it is a great way to make friends, have fun and do something rewarding.
