GFS Blyth’s weekly sessions will give girls an opportunity to be inspired by female role models and feel positive about their lives. The group will provide a safe and non-judgmental space where young women can let go and be themselves and discover their potential.
The group will be a space for girls and young women to learn about issues that are relevant to them and how to make positive life choices. There will also be lots of opportunities to get involved in games, crafts, sports, trips and outdoor activities.
Everyone is welcome at GFS Blyth and being kind to one another is at the heart of our group – we all benefit so much from the friends we make here. If you’d like your child to come along and see what GFS is all about, just fill out the registration form and one of our volunteers will get in touch with you right away.
Currently meeting online
With our third lockdown upon us GFS Blyth is launching an exciting new four week online programme! It’s a great way for girls and young women to meet up with friends, try new experiences and relieve some of the stresses of our current situation. Our programme for the next four weeks includes;
- 20 Jan – Get Creative – bath bomb and lip balm making session
- 27 Jan – Have Fun – a virtual zoo session
- 3 Feb – Skills for Life – a floristry session
- 10 Feb – Get Active – A beach themed session
If all four sessions are attended girls will receive a golden ticket – a completely free space on a future trip when we are allowed to safely meet up!
