Our staff team deliver a variety of activities, services and support to girls and young women across England and Wales.
Our London office houses the CEO and a number of other members of staff who make the organisation run; from marketing to finance and HR to volunteer support. Our Regional Development Managers are based in their respective regions regularly travel around helping to develop GFS groups in their area.

Youth Project Worker, Campaigning x2 (part time, temporary bank worker role)
With a grant from the Rosa Voices from the Frontline fund, GFS will work with girls and young women to help them learn that they can influence change, develop skills and knowledge to understand and design their own campaign. The project will work in the Tyne and Wear and County Durham areas.
The Youth Project Worker will be responsible for organising workshops and group sessions that helps the girls explore these issues further and develop skills in getting their voices heard.
A committed professional is required with a substantial knowledge of the issues facing girls and young women to develop and deliver programme content that helps to meet the project goals. You must be able to facilitate the engagement of girls and young women in the design of the programme and building capacity in volunteers to plan and deliver content.

The post holder will be required to work evening and weekends and may work from our office in County Durham or be home based. The post is offered on a zero hourly contract although average hours will vary between 0 -14 hours weekly.
