Our staff team deliver a variety of activities, services and support to girls and young women across England and Wales.

Our London-based Head Office houses the Executive Director, Senior Management Team and other members of staff within the Programmes, Marketing & Communications, Finance, Fundraising and Human Resources functions. They manage, coordinate and provide support to volunteers and other staff throughout the organisation.

Our Regional Development Co-ordinators (field staff) are home-based and regularly travel around helping to develop branches in their region.

Regional Development Coordinator

Girls Friendly Society is recruiting a part time (21 hours) Regional Development Coordinator for the North West to join the team during an exciting period of significant change. We are about to embark on a new strategy to grow our work and as such we are developing our structure and capacity for supporting and developing new and existing GFS groups.

The post will cover our North West region, which roughly includes Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual as there is considerable scope for development. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Regional Development Coordinator will be part of the growing team of Regional Development Coordinators across the country supporting existing groups and creating new ones.

Salary: £27,000 (pro rata)
Hours: 21 hours per week (part-time)
Location: Home-based.
