About GFS Dunvant

We’re a fun, friendly weekly girls’ youth group. We offer sessions which provide a space for girls and young women to meet new friends in a relaxed, girls-only environment and – most importantly – to have fun.

Due to a few excellent volunteers moving on, we are now looking for Group Leaders and Activity Leaders to join the team. You don’t need to have experience in working with children to join us, just a passion for improving the lives of girls and young women.

Group age range

9+ years

Group meeting time

Every Wednesday 6.30pm -8pm

Dunvant Social Centre, Swansea, SA2 7TA

Being a GFS leader means having the opportunity to enable young women and girls to have a place of activity they can call their own. Friendships are formed between girls, their families and the leaders which can last the rest of their lives. It gives a sense of satisfaction to see girls blossom and grow in confidence and gives them a sense of self-worth.
