If you are looking for a physical challenge whilst your raise money to help girls develop their confidence, self esteem and life skills, you could try a gruelling long distance run or a novelty obstacle race.
Have fun, spread our message of female empowerment and raise funds to provide opportunities for girls and young women. Do not forget that you can walk as well as run – do something that is challenging for you personally. Perhaps you could get a team of people together to help spur each other on. We do not currently have charity places in any race events, but if you interested in a race that requires a charity place, let us know and we will see if there is anything we can do. You can get in touch with us at email@example.com.
We have scouted out some fantastic races that you can enter for yourself and collect sponsorship for GFS. Alternatively, run a charity race of your choosing. Whether you fancy getting muddy or being a ninja warrior, there is something for everyone. If you pledge to raise over £50, we can send you a GFS running vest with iron on letters for your name, girl power temporary tattoos and any information or leaflets you need.
